Covered services under these carriers include your prenatal care and hospital birth. We can provide a ‘benefits check’ when you call to schedule an appointment.

If you desire your birth care to occur at our beautiful Willow Birth Center, the fees for the use of the facility are covered by the following payers:

HealthPartners

Blue Cross Blue Shield

Medica

PreferredOne

UCare

TriCare

UnitedHealth

HealthEZ/America’s PPO

MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance (MA)*

* MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance (MA) are Minnsota’s income-based public health program packages. If you do not have insurance and are pregnant, you may qualify for one of these programs. The MN Department of Health created a helpful page explaining coverage for pregnant people. If you have one of these plans, you will also choose a carrier plan (BCBS, HealthPartners, Medica, etc) offered by your county. This is the plan that we will bill for your care and facility fee.

For other carriers, you can call us or check with them first. Our out-of-pocket charge for the birth center facility is $3500.00 which can be discounted if paid prior to the birth.
